the only thing worse than one child throwing up is BOTH children throwing up. we are talking simultaneously all night saturday poor chloe & emmi were sick, sick, sick. bunk beds are not our friend when vomit is involved. especially when the child on the top bunk gets sick first. i was up 9 times (every half hour) from 11:30pm until 3:30am. and then they gave me a 1 hour break to 4:30am and again at 5:30am. both gals had to be placed on blankets on the floor with a bucket in between them after their first episode b/c the beds had to be stripped. whichever one wasn't throwing up at the time, would come to get me to take care of the other. they did manage to ring the bucket a few times, but unfortunately not before every sheet and blanket in the house had been covered. whew.
they've never been this sick. they slept all day sunday and barely talked. if you know my girls at all, then you know that barely talking is not normal. at all.
alas, they are back to their chitter chattering little selves today. going back to school tomorrow.
