The Cadbury Mini Eggs are my ALL TIME FAVORITE chocolate candy. Imagine my surprise when i went to CVS on Sunday (the day after Valentines) and found the Mini Eggs on the shelves!!! The retailers wasted NO time moving from V-day to Easter...and i am SO glad. Every year i eat WAY too many bags of Mini Eggs simply because i know that the day after Easter i won't see them again for another year. i always *try* to stock up, but my stockpile doesn't last long b/c they are SO addicting.

"What sets them apart from other chocolate candies at this time of years, first and foremost, is that they contain Cadbury chocolate. Cadbury is rather milky tasting, and certainly very sweet. Then it’s all cloaked in this amazingly odd slightly sanded, matte shell. The shell is crunchy and has slightly cool feel in the mouth. You can dissolve it away to get to the chocolate centers, or you can crunch the whole thing together for a sweeter burst.
The colors are even a little less common. Because of the matte finish the yellow, pink, blue and white morsels look like chunks of colored chalk and even have a slightly chalky feel when you first put them in your mouth."
I say go enjoy a bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs (or send me some)...they will be gone before you blink...and they are divine!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! If Cadbury Eggs are out, that can only mean that Reese's Eggs are out too. The only thing better than a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is a Reese creation with like triple the peanut butter center. I may have to get Steven to stop at Rite Aid on his way home. YUMMMMMMM! We need to have an Easter Egg Hunt for the girls:)
I just got a little 40 cent bag of these at CVS yesterday. Delish!
